Valencia – Athletic Bilbao

Valencia welcomes Athletic Bilbao in a match from the 7th round of the Spanish La Liga. Here are our free soccer tips for this clash.

Valencia started the new season much better compared to the last one. The Los Che are currently 4th in the league standings with 12 points. Their record so far is three wins and three draws. They are one of the only three teams in La Liga who are still unbeaten. The other two are Barcelona and Atletico Madrid.

In their last match Valencia enjoyed a 3-2 win over Real Sociedad in San Sebastian. It was a late goal by Simone Zaza who brought the three points to Valencia.

After such a disastrious last season, for the Los Che would be a huge achievement to return among the top teams in Spain. If they can qualify for the Champions League, this would be majestic achievement for Valencia.

Athletic Bilbao didn’t start the new campaign in the most convincing way. The Basques are currently 12th in the standings with 8 points. They have a record of two wins, two draws and two losses. They are also in a run of three consecutive games without a win. In their last game Athletic shared the points with Malaga for a 3-3 draw.

Let’s have a look at the team news before the game.

Valencia can’t use the injured Javier Jimenez and Ruben Vezo, while Robert Ibanez recovered from his latest injury and he’s ready to play now.

Athletic will be without the injured Iker Muniain and Iker Undabarrene, while Mikel Rico and Oscar De Marcos are doubtful for the tip to Estadio Mestalla.

These are our free soccer tips for the game between Valencia and Athletic. We think that Valencia are the favourites here, but be careful with the tough basques.
